PAS 2060 is the internationally recognised standard for demonstrating credible and measurable carbon neutrality.

Developed by the British Standards Institution, in collaboration with organisations including Defra and the Carbon Trust, PAS 2060 sets out the requirements for quantifying, reducing, and offsetting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The framework has since become the benchmark for credible carbon neutrality – and we are proud to align our operations with its rigorous standards. Every year, we collect over 100,000 domestic appliances. These collections support some of the largest names in retail and public sector waste management, ensuring that returned, surplus, or end-of-life appliances are handled in a manner that prioritises reuse, recycling, and compliance. While we currently offset carbon emissions as part of our neutral status, our goal is to continually reduce our environmental footprint until offsets are no longer required.
